Suppose that you and I were told you that the “day of the Lord” commenced July 1, 2022? Those of us who are looking downward in the natural and literal sense of the Word, unable to perceive spiritually we would indeed expect to hear sounds of trumpets blowing, we would see that the sun has turned black and the moon in turned into BLOOD…. Yikes….! After all, is not Gabriel suppose to plant his right foot on the sea and left foot upon the land when he blows his trumpet so loud as to wake up the dead?
Joe 2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: FOR THE DAY OF THE LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
But, just suppose,…. suppose that it is true and that you and I heard not even a toot, much less Gabriel’s horn and the sun is still as bright on July 1, 2022 as it was July 1, 2021 and the moon was just as bright and silvery tonight as it was the night of July 1, 2021 Just suppose….yet, July 1st, 2022 is the commencement of THE DAY OF THE LORD? Just suppose…
Suppose that we understand the words of Peter in Acts 2:20 in the natural and literal sense and do not perceive spiritually:
Act 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
Well, there you have it. Before the day of the Lord comes….the sun will refuse to shine, it will not rise up in the East since it will be darkened. Then when we look up and see the moon….YIKES…!, it is now turned into BLOOD. But all of this is suppose to happen in the natural sense BEFORE the great and terrible DAY OF THE LORD comes. As far as I know, most thieves do not go around blowing horns before they break into our houses.
1Th 5:2 “For yourselves KNOW PERFECTLY that the day of the Lord so cometh as a THIEF in the night.”
Yes, we who sleep, sleep in the night and cannot know perfectly when the THIEF comes to beak in unawares to us. We are too busy sleeping and snoring as to sound like chain saws. We understand what we understand soooooooooo don’t disturb my sleep.
Had you and I heard the BLAST of the trumpet, the trump of God, the sun turned dark and the moon into blood BEFORE THAT day, the day of the Lord, it certainly would not have caught us unaware.
Luk 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and SO THAT DAY, THAT DAY COME UPON YOU UNAWARES.
Matt 24:5 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is NOT AWARE OF.
But let us not concern ourselves and just go on back to sleep because we will know before hand…
Joe 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
After all, the commotion will catch our attentions and THEN we’ll know that the Day of the Lord is near.
Suppose….just suppose that I were to tell you and the rest of the entire church world that the Day of the Lord has already arrived. Suppose that it arrived in July 2022? You would be justified in saying that Brother Strange is off his rocker because I am NOT saying that the Day of the Lord commenced on July1st 2022. But what if I were to tell you that indeed, the Day of the Lord has already commenced in the spiritual sense….that the Sun is already blackened and the moon is already turned to blood in the spiritual sense. Those of us who are only able to think naturally, would be fully justified in saying that anyone who would say DEFINITELY that it has already happened is coocoo.
Those among us who cannot perceive spiritually, should take warning since they have been trained to desire the day of the Lord and a seven year marriage dinner in the sky. You’ve seen pictures of it. The great table is loaded down with food and stretches as far as the eye can see into the sky. The marriage of the Lamb is come….yep, seven years of eating, y’all.
Amo 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
Amo 5:20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?.
Read the last chapter in the old Testament: Mal 4.
The day of the Lord is a day of destruction from the almighty. The wicked are going to be burned up as the Sun of Righteousness comes with healing in his wings. The brightness of that Sun upon the RIGHTEOUS will grow more and more intense until there will be nothing left of the wicked, neither root or branch left of them. The mighty army of God will do God’s final work in the earth as He restores ALL THINGS through His people, the Army of God.
When He comes to manifest himself through his matured Sons of God who have grown up in the image of Jesus, their elder Brother, the earth will be devoid of the wicked and righteousness will reign forever. The wicked will become ashes beneath the feet of the righteous as they walk through the land as a mighty army of God.
Read the 15th chapter of I Cor. No mention of a catching away from the planet earth but it does mention that we shall not all go by the way of death but we shall all be CHANGED in a moment in a twinkling of an eye. Where will we go if not to a seven year eating rendezvous in the sky? We will have a job to do. It will be for the purpose of RESTORE ALL THINGS.
Act 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
IF that time did not commence on July 1st this year, when did it start or when will it start? I do not know. However, I do know that before the final work of God of restoring all things we must at some point step across the line of demarcation between the mortal realm and go into immortality. When it happens, it will happen in our bodies in a twinkling of an eye. We shall be changed immortal and ready to accomplish the final work of righteousness in the earth. By your brightness, the fully matured Sons of God, in the likeness and image of Jesus Christ the wicked in the earth will be TORCHED to become ashes beneath our feet as we march through the land.
Its the BRIGHTNESS of the coming of the Lord which will be in YOU and in me too.
Let not false prophets pervert your understanding concerning the coming of the Lord which, to the wicked, the deceived, the asleep, the careless, the trifling and lazy, will be as a THIEF. But, it will not come upon YOU unawares. The DAY Star is about to arise in your hearts.
